July 22, 2013 Raw Review
Raw would start with a contract signing between John Cena and Daniel Bryan for their match at SummerSlam. John Cena said that hr choose Daniel Bryan because he deserved it and he is the best in WWE. Brad Maddox said that Daniel Bryan is too small and isn't worthy of the match. He would set up a gauntlet match so Daniel Bryan could prove he was worthy.

The first match of the night was Alberto Del Rio vs Sheamus. Sheamus had a bruise on his leg from Money In The Bank and Alberto Del Rio would take advantage by attacking it. At the end Sheamus would try to go for white noise but his leg was to weak and Del Rio was able to counter it into a roll up for the win. It was nice to see Del Rio win cleanly.

The next match was Christian vs Titus O'Neil. The match was ok but it was pointless. Their was no story behind it and nothing happened after the match. Christian was able to get the win after hitting a Killswitch.

Next Mark Henry would come out to the ring and call out the Shield. The Shield would come down and attack Henry but the Usos would come out and help Henry fight off the shield.

The next match was Darren Young vs Dolph Ziggler. This was a good match and Darren Young was able to get a good amount of offense. At the end Darren Young was standing above Ziggler taunting him but Ziggler would quickly get up and hit Darren with a ZigZag. After the match Big E would come out and try to attack Ziggler. Ziggler would send Big E over the top rope. Big E would come back in but Ziggler would escape the ring and leave.

Next up would be Miz TV with the cast of Total Divas. This segment was pretty pointless. It was to promote the show but they could've done that with a commercial. Miz would allow Jerry Lawler to come in and talk to the divas (I have no idea why). Jerry Lawler would say hi to Eva Marie and she would grab the microphone and say that she was here to make a name for herself and she slapped Jerry.

The next match was Cody Rhodes vs Fandango. Damien Sandow was on commentary. This was a good match. Sandow would get on the ring apron and distract Cody Rhodes. Fandango would try to come from behind and hit Cody but Cody dodged him and sent him into Sandow. Cody would hit a disaster kick which knocked Sandows briefcase into Fandango and Cody was able to get the win.

Up next CM Punk would come out and talk about the attack last week. He would say that no matter what Brock did he kept getting back up. He would also say that he wasn't afraid of Brock Lesnar. He would challenge Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam. Paul Heyman would appear on the titantron and accept Punks challenge.

The next match was RVD vs Wade Barrett. This was also a pointless match. It was good but it was just to get RVD a match. At the beginning RVD would turn his back to taunt and Wade Barrett would attack him from behind. Wade was able to get a good amount of offense but RVD was able to get the win after hitting a Five Star Frogsplash.

The main event was the Gauntlet match. Bryans first opponent was Jack Swagger. This match was pretty short and Daniel Bryan was able to make Swagger tap to the Yes lock. The next opponent was Antonio Cesaro. This match was awesome. It got "this is awesome" chants. Antonio Cesaro got a lot of offense which I was happy about. Cesaro would throw Bryan up and go for the uppercut but Bryan would counter into a roll up and get the win. The last opponent was Ryback. This was pretty short and wasn't that good. Ryback would put Daniel Bryan through a table. John Cena would come out and attack Ryback. He would then challenge Ryback to a tables match. Ryback would accept. Raw would end with Daniel Bryan getting up and get back into the ring and the crowd started chanting "Yes".

This was a good edition of Raw but it wasn't as good as last week. Ryback vs Cena in a tables match was announced for next week. Also Daniel Bryan vs Kane was announced. An interesting fact is that for the second week in a row Alberto Del Rio was the only champion to have a match. Not even the Money In The Bank winners had a match. Randy and the Wyatt family didn't appear on Raw. The Wyatt family will probably return next week because Kane will be returning.
