Money In The Bank 2013 Review

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs the Usos for the tag team championships was on the preshow. This was a really good match and probably the best preshow match WWE had ever had. At one point the Usos seemed like they were going to win. One of them hit Seth Rollins with a splash from the top rope but Reigns broke up the pin. The Shield was able to pick up the win after Roman Reigns speared one of the Usos.
The first match on the actual show was the World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank ladder match. This was my favorite of the two ladder matches. It had many good moments. The other two Shield members would get involved and take other the other superstars while Dean Ambrose climbed the ladder, however the Usos would come out and take attack Rollins and Reigns. While most of the participants would be fighting outside the ring Dean Ambrose tried to climb the ladder but Cody would push the ladder and Ambrose would fall to the outside and take out everyone out there. Cody Rhodes would also get busted open which caused him to get five stitches. Cody would climb the ladder but would get pushed off the ladder by......... Damien Sandow who had hid earlier in the match. Sandow would climb the ladder and get the briefcase. I loved the ending. I can't wait to see Sandow cash in the contract and win his first world championship. I wonder if WWE will change his theme song because I can't see him coming to the ring to cash in the contract with that music.
Up next Brad Maddox would come out and talk about how he is happy to be the General Manager of Raw and how he will miss Vickie. Then he would show a video that embarrassed Vickie. The video wad pretty funny but the whole segment was pointless.
Next would be the Intercontinental championship match, Curtis Axel vs the Miz. This was a good match. At one point the Miz would pretend that Paul Heyman had hit him which made the referee eject Paul Heyman from the match. I thought that was pretty cool. Curtis Axel would pick up the win with a new finisher.
The next match was AJ vs Kaitlyn for the Divas title. Kaitlyn had a brace on her left arm. I was busy so I couldn't watch the match but AJ was able to retain her title.

Ryback vs Jericho was next. I also didn't see this match but I saw the end. Jericho would go for a lionsault, Ryback would roll out of the way, Jericho would land on his feet and Ryback would roll him up for the pin.

Up next would be Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship. This was a really good match but the ending didn't make much sense. AJ would come down and skip around the ring but Dolph Ziggler would tell her to leave and that he could do it himself. Then later AJ would come into the ring and hit Del Rio with the title. After she hit him she had a "I didn't mean it" face. The problem I have with the endind is how could she not mean it? She knows that hitting someone results in a disqualification so why would she hit Del Rio.

The next match would be the WWE championship match. John Cena vs Mark Henry. When Mark Henry came out he got a lot of cheers. This was a good match, nothing great. They both kicked out of each others finisher. During the match Henry would push Cena which knocked Cena into the referee and the referee would get knocked down. Henry would then hit Cena with a low blow. Mark Henry would rip off the turnbuckle padding and put two chairs into the ring. While the ref was distracted taking out the chairs Henry would go to another corner and rip off the turnbucke padding. He was going to throw Cena into it but Cena would counter and throw Henry into it. He would then lock in the STF and make Henry tap. I don't like that they had Henry cheat a lot and then tap to the STF but the match was still good.

The main event would be the WWE All-star Money In The Bank ladder match. This was a good match but not as good as the other one, in my opinion. RVD would come out first to a huge pop. At the beginning everyone would attack RVD. Then they would take out Sheamus. Then they all started fighting. At one point in the match Sheamus was at the top of the ladder and RVD would come and push the ladder down but Sheamus would fall down onto the ladder which looked painful. RVD would hit a five star frog splash from the top of a ladder. Daniel Bryan would take out everyone. Sheamus was on the top tope and Daniel Bryan hit Sheamus with a ladder and Sheamus fell and broke through a ladder. At the end Daniel Bryan was climbing the ladder while everyone else was out but Curtis Axel would come and attack Bryan with a chair. As he was leaving Punk would hit Axel with a GTS. Paul Heyman would come down and start yelling at Axel. He would then start cheering Punk on while he was climbing the ladder, very slowly. When Punk got to the top Heyman would grab another ladder and start hitting Punk with it. Heyman would leave. RVD would try and climb the ladder but Randy Orton would come and pull him off and while he was falling he hit RVD with a RKO which I thought was an awesome RKO. Randy then climbed the ladder slowly, which made me think someone was going to come in and knock him off, once he got to the top he looked around and grabbed the briefcase.

This was an awesome Pay Per View. The matches were awesome. I'm glad I predicted the all-star Money In The Bank match correctly.
