The first match of the night would be Sheamus vs Antonio Cesaro. This was a good match. Sheamus would be able to pick up the win by hitting a brouge kick that came out of nowhere. After the match Damien Sandow would come out and attack Sheamus from behind. This was good because it makes Sandow look strong even though he will probably lose at Payback, sadly.
The next match would the Great Khali vs Heath Slater. I doubt anyone really cared about this match. This was a quick match and wasn't really that good. McIntyre and Jinder Mahal would push Hornswoggle outside the ring causing the Great Khali to get distracted and Heath Slater would be a able to take advantage and pick up the win.
Next would be the Divas champion Kaitlyn vs Aksana. This match was never able to begin. A replay from Raw of AJ making fun of Kaitlyn and Aksana laughing at Kaitlyn would cause Kaitlyn to get mad and attack Aksana. The referee would try to pull Kaitlyn off of Aksana but Kaitlyn would slap him. Kaitlyn was fined $10,000 for slapping the ref.
The next match would be Curtis Axel vs Wade Barrett. Before the match began Wade Barrett would say that they should save the fight for Payback but the Miz would come out and get the crowd to chant "fight". The match would begin and was entertaining. During the match Axel would accidentally strike the Miz. Curtis Axel was able to get the victory. After the match the Miz hit Axel with a Skull Crushing Finale.
The main event of the night would be the Shield vs Team Hell No and Randy Orton. I found it interesting that neither Bryan, Orton, or Kane got an entrance but the Shield did. This was an awesome match, but then again the Shields matches are always awesome. The ending of this match was also very awesome. Sadly for the first time the Shield was defeated in a six man tag team match by a submission. The Shield was bound to be defeated eventually so I guess it wasn't that bad.
This was a good edition of SmackDown with some entertaining matches. It did a good job as the last show before Payback by hyping most of the matches. It leaves me excited for Payback this Sunday.
