June 12 2013 Main Event Review

Main Event starts off with The Miz Vs Cody Rhodes.  Wade Barrett was on commentary since Miz had a match. They also seem to have gotten rid of Ricardo Rodriguez. Which is good because he didn't sound that good on commentary. This match was entertaining. It ended with Miz making Cody tap to the figure four leg lock. I wish WWE would do something with Cody. He has a lot of talent.

Next would be Sin Cara vs Damien Sandow. This was a good match but it wasn't that long. Sandow also seems to have gotten a new finisher. I hope he goes back to the old one because I don't like the new one that much.

The last match of the night would be the Usos vs Tons of Funk. I was a little surprised when they had this match because it was two face teams against each other. This match only lasted for about 10 minutes.  This match was pretty slow at the beginning. It also had a lot of dancing in the beginning. Once this match picked up it became pretty good. The Usos were able to pick up the victory after hitting Brodus with a slash off the top rope and getting the pin.


This was a pretty good edition of Main Event. It hyped up the PPV a bit and the matches were pretty good. They also had a promo for CM Punks return at Payback which looked really awesome.
