August 28, 2013 Main Event Review

The show would start with Cody Rhodes vs Curtis Axel. Axel was able to win by hitting his finisher on Rhodes. This was a good match. I don't see why they are making Rhodes lose to Axel when he has been beating Sandow making it look like he will be a future contender for the World Heavyweight championship.

The next match was the Prime Time Players vs the Real Americans. This was a good match. The Prime Time Players won. It would've made more sense if the Real Americans won because the Prime Time Players have already beat the Real Americans including in singles action. WWE needs to use the Real Americans better.

The last match was Kofi Kingston vs Fandango. This was a good match. As Kofi was in the corner setting up for the Trouble in Paridise Summer Rae would grab Kofis ankles causing Kofi to win by disqualification. I'm glad that Fandango didn't walk away from the match.

This was a good episode of Main Event. The three matches were good and weren't too short.

August 21, Main Event Review

The first match of the night was the Shield vs the Usos and Kofi Kingston. This match was good but I wish it was a little longer.Dean Ambrose was able to hit Kofi with his finisher to pick up the win.

The next match was AJ vs Naomi. Aj would make Naomi tap to the Black Widow. This match was short and I wish it was longer. The match was ok for how long it was.

The next match was The Great Khali vs Jack Swagger. This match was short. Jack Swagger was outside and when he came back in Khali would hit him with a chop. The match wasn't that good and was pointless.

Fandango would then come out to the stage and dance. This was just to build up the feud between Miz and Fandango.

The last match was Bray Wyatt vs Justin Gabriel. This match was very short and not that good. Bray Wyatt was able to win after hitting his finisher.

The was an ok episode of Main Event. Most of the matches were short.

August 16, SmackDown Review

SmackDown would start off with the Wyatt family. They would come down to the ring and Brat Wyatt would cut a promo about his match with Kane. Kane would then come from behind and attack the Wyatt Family. Eventually the numbers game would catch up and the would beat up Kane and Brat Wyatt would hit his finisher on Kane. This was a good segment and did a good job hyping the match between Kane and Brat Wyatt.

The first match was Christian vs Damien Sandow. Christian was able to roll up Sandow for the win. After the match Christian would hit Sandow with a spear. Then Alberto Del Rio would come from behind and attack Christian. He would grab a microphone and tell Christian that he will not become World Heavyweight champion this Sunday. He would then go for the Cross-Arm breaker but Christian would counter it into a killswitch. The match was good and after the match did a good job hyping up their match at SummerSlam.

The next match was Kaitlyn and Natalya vs AJ and Layla. This match was pretty short. Layla would kick Kaitlyn from behind allowing AJ to hit her and get the pin. The match was ok but I wish it was alittle longer.

The next match was RVD, Big Show and Mark Henry vs The Shield. This match was good and ended with Dean Ambrose getting hit with a KO punch followed by a five-star frog splash.

The next match was the Miz vs Jack Swagger. This was a quick and pointless match. The referee would eject Cesaro and Colter and while Swagger was distracted Miz would come from behind and pin him.

The next match was Curtis Axel vs Zack Ryder. This match was short. It was nice to see Axel win a match(even if it's against Ryder) because lately he has been getting beat up by Punk during his feud with Lesnar. After the match Herman would talk about Lesnar vs Punk.

The main event of the night was Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett in a no disqualification match. The match was good. Bryan would put Barrett in a yes lock but Vince would take out the ref. Then Barrett would hit Bryan his the bull-hamer elbow and Vince would send Maddox out to make the count but Bryan would kick out. Then Bryan would take Maddox out and put Barrett through a table. Vince would then take the referee shirt and was about to enter the ring but Triple H would come out. Bryan would then hit Barrett with a flying headbutt and then Triple H made the count and Bryan won. After the match Orton would come out and stare at Bryan.

This was a good episode of SmackDown. Most of the matches were good and it did a good job hyping SummerSlam.

SummerSlam 2013 Predictions

Dean Ambrose vs Rob Van Dam- United States Championship match

I'm not happy that this is on the pre-show because I think these two will be able to put on an amazing match. Last year on the pre-show Santino defended the US championship against Antonio Cesaro and Cesaro was able to win the championship (the ending was stupid) so maybe that will happen again this year. I don't think it will however. The Shield will probably get involved either by attacking RVD and allowing Ambrose to keep the title by disqualification. Or they might distract RVD allowing Ambrose to take advantage and win the match.

Natalya vs Brie Bella

This feud had been mostly to promote Total Divas and we will probably hear Total Divas many times during the match. Brie Bella will probably win because she is one of the main stars on Total Divas.

Big E and AJ vs Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn

After this match I hope everyone goes their seperate ways. I think each person in this match can do well by themselves. This is actually a kinda hard match to predict but I think Dolph will pin Big E.

Kane vs Bray Wyatt

This match will be a ring of fire match. The build up has been good but I don't know if they will be able to have a good match because the fire around the ring will limit what they can do. At first I thought it was going to be an inferno match even though I kinda knew it wouldn't be that because of the PG rating. Instead the fire around the ring will be so that the rest of the Wyatt family can't interfere. Bray Wyatt will probably win because it is his first match and Kane will be taking time off to film a movie.

Alberto Del Rio vs Christian- World Heavyweight Championship match

The match will probably be good but the build up to it hasn't been that good. Some people have said that Ricardo might return and make Del Rio lose or make him retain by accident. I don't think that will happen. I think Ricardo will return sometime later but not this Sunday. I think Del Rio will retain, even though I want Christian to win.

Damien Sandow vs Cody Rhodes

The build up to this match has been great and I am extremely excited for this match. There are two ways I think this can go. Cody can win and then they can have a rematch next month for the briefcase or Sandow can win and there can be no rematch. I think Sandow will win because Cody has been getting the better of Sandow through most of the feud.

CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar

This should be a good match and the build up to this match has been awesome. The only bad thing about this feud is that Curtis Axel has either not been on the shows or getting beat up by Punk. I think if this is a one time match CM Punk will win but if they will have a rematch Brock Lesnar will win. I will go with CM Punk winning.

John Cena vs Daniel Bryan- WWE championship match

This match has so many possibilities and you can read my other article to see some ways I think it might go. However I think Cena will win and Orton won't cash in or he might try but not be able to. As much as I want him to I can't see Bryan winning.

How John Cena vs Daniel Bryan Can End

This Sunday John Cena and Daniel Bryan will go one-on-one for the WWE championship and this match can end in so many ways especially now that Triple H has been named the special guest referee. Here are some ways I think this match can end.

1. Triple H blows the call

At the 2011 SummerSlam Triple H was the special guest referee in the match between Cena and CM Punk. At the end of the match Cena had his foot on the rope and Triple H did not see it and CM Punk won. The same thing could happen this Sunday.

2. One of the two win cleanly and nothing happens.

I highly doubt this will happen.

3. Triple H screws Bryan or Cena

This could be used to turn Triple H heel. He can either pedigree Cena or Bryan during the match and let the other one win or he can hit Cena or Bryan with a Pedigree after the match and Randy Orton cashes in.

4. Cena or Bryan win cleanly and Vince sends Orton to cash in

Since Vince doesn't want either Cena or Bryan leaving SummerSlam as champion he could send Orton out to cash in. This can go two ways. When Orton gets in the ring Triple H can hit Orton with a Pedigree to stop him and stop Vince from getting what he wants or Triple H can do nothing and let Orton cash it in.

August 14, MainEvent Review

Main Event would start off with Alberto Del Rio vs Cody Rhodes. This was a good match. Cody Rhodes got a lot of offense including hitting a cross Rhodes. Alberto Del Rio however was able to pick up the victory after making Cody tap to the cross-arm breaker.

They showed a new promo for the CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar match which was really good.

The next match was the Usos vs 3MB members, Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. This match lasted longer than I thought it would and it wasn't bad. 3MB actually got quite a bit of offense. The Usos were able to pick up the win after hitting a splash.

The last match of the night was Big E vs Justin Gabriel. Big E dominated the beginning of the match but Gabriel was able to turn it around for a while. In the end Big E was able to hit the Big Ending and get the win. The match was ok but it was short.

This was a pretty good edition of Main Event and I'm glad it didn't end with a recap of Raw. The matches weren't great but they weren't bad.

August 12, Raw Review

Raw would start with Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett. The beginning was weird because when Raw began Daniel Bryan was on his way to the ring and Wade Barrett was already in the ring. Brad Maddox was the special referee. The match didn't last too long. Wade Barrett would roll Daniel up and Brad Maddox made a fast count.
The next match was Randy Orton vs Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes was on commentary. Before the match began Sandow handcuffed the briefcase to the ring post. At the end Cody would distract Sandow by trying to get the briefcase and Orton was able to hit the RKO for the win. The match was ok but it happened a few weeks ago with the same outcome.
The next match was The Great Khali and Natalya vs Big E and AJ. This match was short. At one point Natalya had AJ in the sharpshooter and she tapped out but the referee didn't call for the bell. Natalya would go for the sharpshooter again, AJ would tap and the the referee called for the bell. Big E and Khali never even fought during the match so it should've just been a singles divas match. After the match Big E would attack Khali but Khali threw him out of the ring. The match wasn't that good and after the match made no sense so this was pointless. It would've made more sense if Big E attacked Khali and Ziggler came out to save Khali. Then AJ would attack Ziggler which would let Kaitlyn come out and attack AJ.
Next, Vince McMahon would come out and ask that Brad Maddox come out. Maddox would come out and apologize for what he did in the first match and ask that Vince would give him a second chance by allowing him to be the special referee in the Bryan and Cena match. Vince would say yes but Triple H would come out and say that he would be the special referee in the match and then he would hit Maddox with a pedigree.
The next match was Kane vs Titus O'Neil. This was a short match and Kane was able to pick up the victory after hitting him with a chokeslam. After the match the Wyatt family would come out to attack Kane but when the lights came back on Kane had gone to the top of the ramp and would do his pyro.
The next match was Alberto Del Rio vs Kofi Kingston. The match was good and Del Rio was able to make Kofi tap to the cross arm breaker.
Next match was The Real Americans vs the Usos. Zeb Colter would try to distract the referee but the Usos were still able to pick up the victory after hitting a splash.
Up next would be MizTV with John Cena and Daniel Bryan. Bryan would say that John Cena, this was just another SummerSlam but for Bryan it was the biggest match of his life. He would also say that Cena was a parody of wrestling. Cena would slap Bryan but Triple H would come to the ring and make sure that they didn't get into a fight. Randy Orton would come out to the top of the ramp and hold up his briefcase. This was an awesome segment and did a great job hyping up their match at SummerSlam.
Up next Fandango would come out for a match with R-Truth. R-Truth would interrupt Fandangos enterance. The match never got started and it turned into a dance contest. Then a fight started and Fandango was on the losing end.
The main event of the night was a 20-man battle royal and the winner would face Dean Ambrose for the United States championship on the SummerSlam pre-show. During the match R-Truth eliminated Fandango who came back in and eliminated R-Truth. It seems there might be a rivalry between these two which I am not looking forward to. The last two left were Mark Henry and RVD. RVD was able to eliminate Henry and win. After the match the Shield would come down and surround the ring. Mark Henry would re-enter the ring. Before the Shield could attack Big Show would return and come into the ring and the Shield would retreat. The match was good and after the match was a good way to return the Big Show. It seems that it will be Big Show and Mark Henry vs the Shield for the tag team championships.
Paul Heyman would come out and announce that challenging Punk to a match was a trap. Brock Lesnar would come out and Paul would challenge Punk to a handicap match. Punk would come from behind and attack Lesnar with a camera that he took from one of the cameramen. He would then go after Heyman but Curtis Axel would come out and let Heyman escape. Punk would then hit Axel with a GTS.
This was a good Raw and it did a good job hyping SummerSlam. There were some matches that weren't that good. Natalya vs Brie Bella was made for SummerSlam. I'm not looking forward to this match that much but it's nice to see there are two divas matches. The ring of fire match between Kane and Bray Wyatt will not have anyone catch on fire. Also I think RVD vs Dean Ambrose should have been on the main show because these two will probably put on a great match.
